National Safety

The GOES-19 is a very safe and controlled satellite meant only for the collection of weather data. Although the satellite can take detailed images of earth, the only public access to its images are images of weather patterns provided on the NOAA Government website. The only group that has access to everything the GOES-19 produces is the NOAA which is a U.S government agency and the detailed images are not shared with foreign nations.
